Let’s say you’re an average salesperson, and you’ve taken your company’s quota as your goal.
Let’s pretend it's $1,000,000 ARR sold in a 12 month period.
Easy to death, how achievable is it?
OK, now double it and how about now?
Pose the impossible? Aim for the stars? Think big?
This is for achieving something special.
The other choice is incrementalism. Based on last quarter. Or last year's results.
LAME?!
OK back to your now impossible revenue target:
What if you imagined you get $1M commission if you get $DOUBLE Target done?
Or what if you imagine you got the income you need to make your spouse have her dream life?
Or what happens if you had a gun to your head if you didn't?
Your family’s head?
Or… what if you imagine you achieved your personal meaningful goal if you got it done?
And had fun along the way?!
If you don't have a goal, think you have a goal but know it's not the goal or your goal is small...
