You won't believe today...Elliott started the day by asking me when I was gonna start blogging again. Then he sent me an email that included these suggested blog topics
- Mission, vision, ???
- Rick's dirty laundry list
- Non-supportive buy-cycle
Then we had our Cohort where we handled
- How to maximize ROI from a webinar?
- Mindset and keeping prospects fully engaged.
- Remembering that prospects are people before they are prospects.
- Then combating Need for Approval and asking sensitive questions.
Then we had 6 for Junto. Great conversations there...
... which extended into my next call which ended with the decision to offer a Junto for Solopreneurs and Founders only. next week. Stay tuned.
... but remember, my day started with, "When are you gonna start blogging again?" and I've been thinking about it all day.
So, here it is. I start most conversations with salespeople that are trying to grow sales with how much are you looking to grow and why? It's not just a million. It's how that million will change your life and I drill down until I get THE specific PERSONAL change that they want.
Lately, we've been getting stupid responses to the Desired Revenue question like 'Personal Income' and 'commissions'. Today, we got 'both'. So, I looked at our form to see what both meant. This is what I saw.

So, most were picking 'Personal Income', but one person picked 'both' personal income and sales.
Ask a stupid question? Get a stupid answer. We screwed up and we fixed it, but...
....did you ask any stupid questions today that cost you a sale? or got you an invalid piece of information?
