So, yesterday, Melissa and Elaine (Gram E) are talking and Melissa says, I have to mow the lawn. "Can you watch Annabel while she takes her nap?"

Gram E says, "Sure! I'll be right out." You kind of need to know that Annabel's in Missoula, MT and Gram E's in Goose Rocks Beach, ME.

Rather than have Gram E drive the 2,654 miles, Melissa set up a Zoom meeting for Gram E, took her cell phone and went out to mow the lawn.

and Gram E watched Annabel while she had lunch and Melissa mowed the lawn.

When Annabel started to stir, Gram E started talking to her, commenting on her finding her hands, looking around and making wake up noises. Eventually, Mommy finished the lawn and walked into Annabel's room.

A fun time was had by all.
